Within less than a year I have had the honor of photographing this amazing couple's wedding AND their maternity session! They are both completely easygoing and full of love and laughter :) 

The day of their wedding there was the craziest summer storm that seemed to be engulfing all of eastern North Carolina. Well, all of eastern North Carolina except for the family farm in which they exchanged vows and became a family. Fast forward to their maternity session and the weather was supposed to be just as stormy as their wedding day. On the way to Wilmington the day before I just kept hoping and praying that the bad weather would hold off and let us have our session together. I even played all reggae the whole way down to ward off all of the bad weather energy ;) For real!  My friend and Mary Charles' stylist, Susan Chesson, and I as well as Mary Charles herself were checking the weather updates constantly up until the actual session and ya know what ... it was GORGEOUS!!!!! Maybe a little windy and cooler on the beach, but it was still an absolutely lovely day!

In just a few short weeks I get to meet their little boy and capture the newest and most precious moments in this family but until then enjoy some of the photographs from their Wrightsville Beach maternity session :)
